Annapurna Circuit trek in Nepal starts with the countryside ride to Dharapani. After then, the trail continues towards beautiful Manang village via Chame and Pisang. We will rest and acclimatize in Manang village before further climbing up. The coming days of this trek will be more fascinating as the trail will lead you through Thorang La Pass (5416 m) to Muktinath Temple where you will pay homage. Muktinath Temple is a famous religious place where several devotees from different Asian countries visit here to perform religious activities. Jomsom will be the last point of this trek, from where the flight will take you back to Pokhara directly. From Pokhara, either by private vehicle or flight, you can comfortably return to Kathmandu.

  1. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel

    After you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, one of our representatives will be there to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel comfortably.

  2. Day 2: Drive to Dharapani from Kathmandu (private vehicle) (1860m, 6 hours)

    The second day is the fascinating day of your trip as your journey starts with the 6 hours drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani. The drive through countryside hill will be amazing as you can witness green hills, fast-flowing rivers, pretty waterfalls, etc. Overnight stay at Dharapani.

     

  3. Day 3: Dharapani to Chame (2670m, 6 hours)

    The third day of our trekking will be towards Chame, which is also the headquarters of the Manang District. The trail will lead you through dense forests and offers outstanding views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Lamjung Himal. Before reaching Chame you will come across through local village and hot spring. Overnight stay at Chame.

  4. Day 4: Chame to Pisang (3230m, 5 hours)

    Today you will be trekking through a steep and narrow path along the lush forest in the early part of the day. Adventurous curved rock will be on the way during the trek which is the steepest part of Marshyangdi Valley. As you will pass the stunning rock, you will see the beautiful valley. Overnight stay at Pisang.

  5. Day 5: Pisang to Manang Village (3450m, 5 hours)

    This is another exciting day of trekking we trail will follow up through Upper Pisang which offers jaw-dropping views of the striking landscape and panoramic views of Annapurna and Pisang. You will experience the fluctuation of weather and climate as we reach Manang, the climate will be rough and dry. Likewise, you will explore an ancient Buddhist Monastery called Barge Monastery which is the largest in Manang District. Overnight stay at Manang Village.

  6. Day 6: Acclimatization at Manang village

    First acclimatization of the trek at Manang village. Before climbing high elevation acclimatization is most important. If you want to roam around the village then you can have a short walk or hike to explore Gangapurna Glacier and Manang Glacial Lake. Overnight stay at Manang Village.

  7. Day 7: Manang Village to Yak Kharka (4110m, 4 hours)

    After spending a good amount of time in Manang Village, the next destination will be Yak Kharka. Mesmerizing walk in higher elevation with dazzling views of mountains, crossing through pretty streams, the trail will take you towards Yak Kharka. Yak kharka is a small and beautiful settlement from where majestic views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Chulu peaks can be explored. Overnight stay at Yak Kharka.

  8. Day 8: Yak Kharka to Thorang High Camp (4600m, 5 hours)

    After having breakfast trail continues and leads you nearer to Thorang La pass. The adventurous trail will follow up by crossing the bridge and then climbing along the Jargunj river. Then again we have to climb up from Thorang Phedi to reach Thorang High Camp where you will spend overnight.

  9. Day 9: Thorang La Pass (5416m) to Muktinath (3800m, 7 hours)

    The most interesting and adventurous day of the trek is today. Trek starts right after an early breakfast. You can witness many Buddhist Flags on the top of Thorang La. Trekkers need to be mentally and physically sound to reach the top of this point. Stunning vistas of Landscape with snowcapped mountains can be explored from the top of the point. After experiencing the thrilling adventure we will descend to Muktinath which will be a bit longer walk. Muktinath is the holy place for both famous religions Hindu and Buddhist. Numbers of devotees from different places visit this religious place to worship and perform the religious act. Overnight stay at Muktinath.

  10. Day 10: Muktinath to Jomsom (2715m, 5 hours)

    From Muktinath, the trek will be a lot easier, the trail will lead you straight down to Kaligandaki valley. The massive drop of 1200m in elevation makes the trek a bit comfortable. From Kaligandaki Valley gentle walk will lead you toward Jomsom. We will also explore the beautiful village of Marpha, where apple products like cider, brandy, and Juice are produced.   11. Day 11: Day 11: Fly to Pokhara

    Today you will be flying to Pokhara also known as the City of Lakes. You have to take an early breakfast because flights from Jomsom to Pokhara are possible only in the morning time. One of our staff from Adventure Leaders Nepal will be there to pick you up from the airport. During the day you can enjoy the city tours, boating, paragliding, etc. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

  12. Day 12: Day 12: Pokhara Day Tour

    Today you will explore Pokhara city. There are many activities to do in Pokhara such as Paragliding, Boating, Bungee Jumping, etc. It will allow you to relax your body and mind after a long trek in the Annapurna circuit. Overnight stay at Pokhara.

  13. Day 13: Return to Kathmandu (Drive/flight)

    You have two options to return to Kathmandu. Whether you can go back by private vehicle, tourist bus, or flight. Overnight stay at Kathmandu Hotel.

  14. Day 14: Departure

    Today is the last day of your trek. But, if you want to do other activities after finishing this trek then surely we will help you on your next trip. Otherwise, one of our staff will drop you at the airport.

     

Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal is best for those who have past experience in trekking. Altitude sickness is not a problem if you have previous trekking experiences.
