Generally, peak climbing in Nepal takes more than 15 days. But, Mera peak climbing takes 2 weeks to complete. The peak climbing starts with a scenic flight to Lukla and a trek to Chhutanga. Then Chhutanga trail leads you towards Kothe via Zatra La Pass (4600m). At Kothe, you will have a rest day. Rest day is very important as you can acclimatize yourself. Similarly, from Kothe, you will trek towards Khare Camp through Thagnag. In Khare Camp, you will have basic training sessions. Training and checking your skills are very crucial. Likewise, the route continues towards the summit via High Camp. The summit is at 6654m. After enjoying the views from the summit you will climb down to the High Camp or Base Camp. Moreover, you will retrace the same trail from high camp to Kothe, Zatra La pass, and Lukla. Starting from Lukla to ending at Lukla, it takes 14 days.
