Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek is one of the classic treks in remote areas of the eastern region of Nepal. The trek takes you both North & South Base Camp of Kanchenjunga (8596m), 3rd highest peak in the world. Similarly, due to its remoteness, it is one of the restricted regions for trekking in Nepal. This trek gives you the rare taste of untouched biodiversity, which only a few tourists have experienced. The snow massif of Mt. Kanchenjunga is the most beautiful part of this trek. Likewise, the trek offers magnificent Himalayan landscapes, alpine grasslands, sub-tropical forests, low river valleys, etc. Also, you need to have good physical and mental strength to complete this trek. Kanchenjunga circuit trek starts with a historical UNESCO world heritage site tour in Kathmandu valley. Then after, the next day you will fly to Bhadrapur and drive to Taplejung for your trek. Likewise, from Taplejung you will walk towards Kanchenjunga North Base Camp. The route of the lower section takes you through beautiful meadows, villages, and lush valleys. Upon reaching Kanchenjunga North Base Camp, you will enjoy the views of Pangpema, Kanchenjunga, and Chang Himal. Likewise, after exploring the north, the trek moves ahead to South Base Camp. Trek to south base camp offers Yalung Glacier. Yalung Glacier flows into the gigantic Tamor River. During the trek, you will learn about the local lifestyle of the Limbu people.
